Digital Transfer FAQ

How does Pro Print Group go about printing their VersaTEX™ digital transfers?

Read our handy guide to bringing an idea to life by using our screen printing expertise!

When would Pro Print Group recommend the use of digital transfers?

We generally recommend using digital transfers for any design that uses lots of gradients of colours, or ones that require a photo-realistic finish where screenprinting just can’t give a high enough level of detail. We also recommend digital transfers to be used on hard-to-print-on and uncommon items, such as stress balls / compendiums / laptop sleeves / cooler bags / certain types of high-vis jackets / jackets with a lining etc. To see if your garment or artwork is suitable, please get in contact with the Pro Print Group team and we will advise you on the best method of printing.

Will digital transfers weigh the garment down?

Not at all. Digital transfers are actually lighter in weight than a screenprint, meaning the garment won’t feel bulky or heavier following the addition of a digital transfer.

Do digitial transfers have a rough texture?

No. Digital transfers are very smooth and soft to the touch and are not abrasive at all.

Are digital transfers as durable as a screen print?

Yes, actually more so. Digital transfers tend to outlast the garment itself and will withstand frequent washes better than screen prints!

Will my colours be as vivid using a digital transfer as they would be with a screen print?

Yes, the printers we use to print out our digital transfers use super-bright CMYK pigment technology, ensuring beautiful, vivid colours on every transfer, every time.

Should I be worried about the digital transfer cracking or stretching?

Not at all. Our digital transfers are of a commercial grade and are industrial strength and are less prone to cracking or stretching than screen prints! We always recommend using our digital transfer service for those slightly harder jobs, such as anything overtly stretchy like Lycra & laptop sleeves and swimwear such as neoprene.

Can I see some examples of your digital transfers?

Of course. Please view the “Portfolio” page in the navigation bar at the top of the page to see some examples of what we can do for you.

Do you have a price-list for digital transfers?

Due to the amount of variables that come into play when determining the final cost of a job, we unfortunately do not have a general price list available. However, we are always more than happy to provide hassle and obligation free quotes to everyone and anyone. If you’d like to know how much it would cost to get your design printed using our digital transfer services, please don’t hesitate to send it via the quote form and we’ll give you an answer as soon as humanly possible!
